Rebecca Covey McNary is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She is skilled and trained in the treatment of trauma using EMDR, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy, also Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, among other things. She is trauma-informed and loves helping all clients feel comfortable and in control while in her office. She is also trained in Expressive Arts Therapy and Sandtray. She considers herself more of an experiential therapist than a talk therapist. Her specialties include anxiety, depression, trauma, shame resilience, PTSD, grief, attachment issues and hopelessness.
Rebecca was born in Provo, Utah and raised in Bountiful, Utah. She enjoys Utah Valley and its residents. She is married with five children and loves to be with them especially if someone else will do the cooking, like Cafe Rio. She plays guitar, and loves singing Karaoke, Queen being a staple. She stayed home with her children for 20 years and then decided to go back to school and get her master’s degree in social work. It was one of the best decisions of her life. She loves her clients and feels honored to hear their stories.
